Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif (69) has suffered a heart attack at Services Hospital in Lahore, on Saturday afternoon.
The former Pakistani PM’s health had deteriorated since he was rushed to Services Hospital earlier this week with critically low platelet count in his blood.

Initially, his platelet count returned to normal but again dropped. He was diagnosed with immune thrombocytopenia and is under treatment.
It is to be mentioned here that Nawaz Sharif was granted bail on medical grounds by Lahore High Court on Friday. He was lodged in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
According to the court order, the former prime minister will have to submit two surety bonds worth PKR 10 million for release in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case, said reports.
