Singapore: Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Monday announced that  school children will be vaccinated against COVID-19 from next month.

The decision was taken after officials warned that new strains were affecting youngsters more.

Followed by a surge in the number of COVID cases, the Singapore government tightened the relaxations. Majority of the infected patients were school going children.
