The couple has been living together in Downing Street since Johnson became prime minister in 2019.
The wedding was held in front of close friends and family on Saturday.
According to reports, around 30 guests were invited to the ceremony at short notice as the maximum number of attendees allowed under COVID restrictions in England is 30.
Last week, The Sun reported that the couple had sent wedding invitations to family and friends for July 30, 2022.
The senior staff in Mr Johnson’s 10 Downing Street office were also unaware of the May 29 wedding plan.
