Saraswati Puja is being celebrated across India. Saraswati puja is also known as Vasant Panchami. Maa Saraswati is the goddess of knowledge, music, art, science, wisdom, and technology.
According to the Hindu calendar, Saraswati Puja will be held in the month of February 16, 2021.
The Panchami Tithi begins at 03:36 AM on February 16, 2021, and Panchami Tithi Ends at 05:46 AM on February 17, 2021
Saraswati Puja is one of the most significant festivals celebrated with ardour and great enthusiasm in all educational institutions. This festival is very special for students. Meanwhile, Puja pandals have been put up in different places apart from schools, colleges, and many educational institutions across India. In Assam, most of the girls dress up in dazzling saree and mekhela sador ( traditional attire of Assam).
Religion brings people together, where they pray together with similar viewpoints. As health officials around the world didn't allow unnecessary gatherings due to COVID-19 disease, the crisis gives rise to social distancing and self-isolation, so as like Durga Puja, Saraswati Puja will be celebrated with a minimum crowd.
Firstly, offer yellow clothes to Maa Saraswati, sandalwood, turmeric, saffron, yellow or white floral, yellow sweet and intact. Secondly, worship the books with an incense stick or Diyas. Thirdly, read Maa Saraswati's Vandana. Lastly, if students want they can take a fast for Maa Saraswati on this day.
In mythology, it depicts that Saraswati is called the mother of the Vedas and Vasant Panchami, Kamadeva comes to earth with their wives Rati and communicates love everywhere.
