KCP ultra held in Manipur

Imphal (Manipur), Aug 6 2018:

The Civil Defence Organisation (CDO-IW) apprehended one active member of Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) from Lamdeng Khunou in Manipur.

The member has been identified as Nongjai Mayum Asik of Mayang, Imphal. He was apprehended from the house of Soibam Telemkhomba Meitei.

According to the CDO, he joined the organisation in 2014 and was working under the command of Inaocha of Awang Khunou.

The CDO recovered one small arms, three mobile handsets, one wallet and one Aadhaar card from his possession.

He was later handed over to Lamsang police for further investigation.
