Social Welfare and Cooperation Minister, Smt Nemcha Kipgen, also the local MLA (Kangpokpi A/C) today expressed that the recently launched mission – ‘Khungang Chatse – Go To Village’ Mission is a people-centric initiative of the State Government meant for all the masses to avail any governmental schemes, programs and benefits at their thresholds without involving any middlemen.

She was addressing the gatherings at ‘Go to Village’ camps held at Daili, Phyapou and Lower Kalapahar villages of Kangpokpi A/C, Kangpokpi District today.

During the visit to the camps, Minister Nemcha Kipgen distributed free LPG connections given under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana to women from Below Poverty Line (BPL) and also inspected the stalls of different departments and banking institutions opened for public convenience.

Minister Nemcha strongly appealed the masses to make the maximum benefits out of this mission and also to extend full cooperation to the government officials for smooth functioning and to timely deliver their services to the people.

She further informed that many more villages will be covered in the upcoming days and assured that everyone will be benefited through this mission. The camp was organised by District Administration, Kangpokpi.
