Manipur: Former President of Zeliangrong Baudi (AMN) Athuan Abonmei found shot dead

IMPHAL: Former president of Zeliangrong Baudi, Assam, Manipur, Nagaland (AMN) Athuan Abonmei was found shot dead on Wednesday at around 7:30 pm at Pallong village, 7 km from Tamenglong district headquarters.

He was allegedly abducted by some suspected NSCN (IM) armed cadres from Tamenglong district headquarters on Wednesday morning .

The incident took place in the wake of Chief Minister N Biren Singh's visit to Tamenglong.
