Manipur: Fresh firing reported in Kangpokpi district

Amid the ongoing unrest in Manipur, a fresh firing took place in the Kangpokpi district on June 21, said sources.

The sources also said that miscreants attacked Tangnaum village, formerly known as Haraothel, under Kangchup Geljang Sub Division in Saitu Assembly Constituency of Kangpokpi district, situated near Leimakhong at around 6:00 pm today.

After only one and a half hours of firing in Tangnaum village, miscreants attacked another Kuki village, Mongneljang, in Saikul Sub Division, Kangpokpi District, around 7:30 p.m.
