In the last 24 hours, 11 (9 males, 2 females) active cases were confirmed in Manipur. As such, the total number of positive cases has increased to 55 and the number of active cases is 50. The total number of recovered cases has increased to 5.
A case who was admitted to the COVID Care facility of JNIMS was found COVID free yesterday and has been discharged today.

Taking stock of the measures, CM Biren Singh has held a meeting with the Health Department, Health Mission & authorities of UNACCO School, Meitram, Imphal West on establishing a 100 bedded temporary COVID Care Centre.
Assam has the highest number of confirmed coronavirus cases, Manipur have the third highest positive cases.
