In yet another major development, three more ministers were dropped from the council of ministers in Manipur. The three ministers are CAF & PD minister Karam Shyam, Health minister L. Jayantakumar and Tribal Affairs & Hills minister N. Kayisii. This takes the total ministers to be dropped from the state cabinet to six.

Earlier in the day, three ministers were dropped from the state cabinet. The ministers were Agriculture, Veterinary & Animal Husbandary minister V Hangkhalian, Social Welfare & Co operation minister Nemcha Kipgen and Education, Labour & Employment minister Th. Radheshyam Singh.
