UNLF cadre apprehended by Moreh Battalion of 26 Sector Assam Rifles

Manipur, February 27, 2019:

Moreh Battalion in a relentless crackdown apprehended an active cadre of United National Liberation Front (UNLF).  The active cadre of UNLF was apprehended by Moreh Battalion of 26 Sector Assam Rifles near Moreh market.

On the basis of specific input from reliable sources regarding the movement of an active underground, a vigilant team of Moreh Battalion was launched and on establishing the identity the suspected person was nabbed.

The apprehended individual has been identified as SS Pvt Thokchom Jiban S/O Manao, 23 yrs of Moreh and he has confessed of being an active cadre of UNLF having joined the outfit in Nov 2012 through an overground worker and received his basic training for 3 months in Myanmar.
