In the case of killing of an assistant commandant by a constable in Meghalaya’s South West Khasi Hills on February 25, the constable Arjun Deshwal has confessed that he did it due to excessive work load. INSIDENE possess an exclusive video where the constable is seen saying that due to excessive work load and the facilities available for armed forces of lower cadres, who are leading their lives in a pathetic condition forced him to open fire from his service rifle killing an officer besides injuring several others. Talking to INSIDENE, SP South West Khasi Hills Herbert G Lyngdoh told that the case is under investigation. Lyngdoh also stated that it looks like there is a discontentment and it’s a fragging case.
