MEGHALAYA HC JUDGE WARNS AGAINST ISLAMIZATION OF INDIA

Guwahati, December 13, 2018:

Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court, Sudip Ranjan Sen has described the National Register of Citizens (NRC) as a defective process as many Indians have been left out and many foreigners became Indians.

The Chief justice appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other parliamentarians to take necessary steps to prevent India’s conversion into an Islamic country.

He stated that after partition Pakistan was declared an Islamic country whereas, India was not declared a Hindu nation.

Justice Sen added, “Nobody should try to make India another Islamic country, otherwise it will be a doomsday for India and the world.”
