MEGHALAYA: MINISTER'S SON DASHES A POLICE VEHICLE

The power game still continues

Aibanshaharaj Nongseij, son of  Meghalaya’s Health Minister, Al Hek ran his brand new Mercedes into a two-wheeler Police Vehicle. The bang knocked one Police Constable to death, maiming the other.

According to a source, the collision took place on Saturday at around 12:45 a.m. The accused on the basis of the complaint lodged, was taken to investigation. After the procedure, the accused was released on bail.

Such cases are clear evidences the prevailing power game. This destroys the fabric of the society, hindering the very provisions of the Constitution which guarantees justice to all.
