"To say or not to say is the question "

There are times when you are caught between " a hard place and a rock" and something similar was witnessed in the conversation with CM Conrad Sangma.

In an interview with Inside NE, CM Sangma stood against the Citizenship Amendment Bill. However he had nothing much to comment on the decision of the Centre. When asked about how difficulty was it for them to go against the bill since National People's Party is an ally of the BJP, he stated "We are an alliance, we might at times have different opinions. We are just saving our people not opposing anyone".

When asked of what should be the undertakings of the other Northeastern states, he stated" It would be wrong for me to decide what other parties should do, but we have made our steps clear and other states would go ahead based on their local problems. As we made it very clear in the Cabinet meeting, we couldn't do anything more than that ".
