Guwahati, November 10, 2018:

A Election Commission team, headed by the Deputy Election Commissioner, reviewed the poll preparedness in Champhai district of Mizoram this morning. The team also reviewed the security measures taken up for the election. The team had reached Aizawl yesterday.

Campaigning by political parties is going on in full swing in the state which will go to polls on November 28.

The Congress, Mizo National Front and Bharatiya Janata Party have fielded candidate for all 40 constituencies. While, other parties like Zoram Peoples Movement is contesting in 35 seats, Zoram Thar Party in 24, National Peoples Party in 10 and Nationalist Congress Party  in five seats.
