Mizoram House in Delhi is converted into Covid Care Unit for Mizo people

AIZAWL: The Mizoram government has converted one of the Mizoram Houses in Delhi to a Covid Care Unit for the Mizo people residing in the national capital.

The Mizoram House situated in Vasant Vihar area of Delhi has been chosen for this purpose with the initiative of Mizoram chief minister Zoramthangsa.

Zoramthangsa previously said that he has great concern for the people of his state living in the national capital, which has become a COVID-19 hotspot as Delhi is grapplig with the second wave.

Zoramthangsa announced on his Instagram handle in last month that the Mizoram house in Vasant Vihar area soon to be converted into a Covid Care unit for the people of the state so COVID-19 infected patients from the state could take rest there.

CM Zoramthangsa had also urged doctors and nurses from Mizoram living in Delhi to look after the patients with their skills and launch the service as per convenience.
