Mizoram: MNF sweeps Assembly By-Poll

AIZAWL: Retaining its wave, the ruling Mizo National Front (MNF) on Tuesday swept Tuirial Constituency by-poll. The ruling MNF candidate K. Laldawngliana won with 5820 votes, ZPM candidate Laltlanmawia comes closest to the Laldawngliana with 4536 votes, marking a 1284 difference.

Out of 17,911 electorates, including 9,092 female voters,  a total no. of 14,561 are casted in the recently concluded by poll. The voting percentage is 81.29
