Assam Rifles apprehended suspected NSCN-K cadres, seized arms and ammunition

Guwahati, March 7, 2019:

Two suspected NSCN-K cadres have been apprehended by a team of Dimapur Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) and representatives of West Police station at Sematilla in Dimapur.

The accused has been identified as Honito Chishi and Puloto Chishi.

The team seized one .22 pistol with magazine, six live rounds of ammunition of .22 pistol, four fired cases of .22 rifle, one wireless radio set with charger, one Bushnell telescopic sight, and five mobile phones and Rs 76,150/- in cash.

The apprehended cadres along with the seized items have been handed over to Sub-Urban Police Station, Dimapur.
