Another ambush has rocked the state of Nagaland today.
According to sources, the ambush took place at Mon district in Nagaland on Assam Rifles.
As per the latest official reports, four have been injured.
it is to be mentioned that a sitting National People’s Party (NPP) MLA from Khonsa West Assembly constituency, Tirong Aboh was killed in an attack on May 21. It was suspected that the ambush was carried out by National Socialist Council of Nagalim- Isaak Muivah (NSCN-IM) militants camped out in the frontier state Arunachal Pradesh.
It has been reported that 11 persons have been killed in the ambush. The militants also set ablaze the MLA’s car.
The attack took place at Bogapani village of Tirap district in Arunachal Pradesh. It may be mentioned that Aboh was seeking re-election from Khonsa West Assembly seat on an NPP ticket.
