CONDOLENCE PROGRAM FOR DEPARTED NAGA LEADER

Guwahati, December 13, 2018:

The Naga community of New Delhi has organized a condolence program for the departed Gen (retd) Khole Konyak, who was the Vice President of NSCN (IM). He breathed his last in New Delhi’s Fortis Escorts Heart Institute on the 12th of December of cardiac arrest.

The late leader had complained of headaches and was rushed to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with severe haemorrhage and hypertension. He was transferred to the ICU where he breathed his last at 2:30 pm.

The congregation to mourn his passing has been planned for the 13th of December at Nagaland House, New Delhi. The laying of the wreath is slated for 3:30 pm and the ceremony is estimated to last till 7 pm, with many Naga as well as national leaders scheduled to speak.
