KOHIMA: Nagaland reported 13 new COVID-19 positive cases over the past 24 hours out of which 12 were reported in Dimapur and 1 in Kohima.
S Pangyun Phom, minister for Health and Family Welfare, had confirmed this in his daily COVID-19 update on social media.
With this, the total cases of Nagaland have mounted up to 12,568 out of which 12,110 were discharged after on tested negative.

The state had 189 active cases and 84 persons succumbed to the COVID-19 virus so far.
In view of the surge in the COVID-19 cases, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Saturday said that schools across the state might have to close down soon. Although church services and other inevitable public events should be reduced to a bare minimum, with obligatory COVID acceptable behavior implemented.
