He further said, "We gradually began to produce and upload educational videos for all classes via our YouTube and Facebook pages. During the process, NagaEd and the department collaborated to create a software solution that allowed them to channel all videos and resources to a school-specific approach where they could directly connect with students and monitor their learning."
Shiroi Shaiza, termed the collaboration as a giant step forward in Nagaland's education system and stated that the transition to digital education was not a question of if, but of when.
“We recognise that these are trying times for students, parents, and teachers. We are collaborating with the department to provide high-quality digital distance learning and teaching solutions that empower educators while also preparing students for the future of work. We are excited to collaborate with the department to create a Digital Delivery Model that will benefit parents, teachers, and students,” she added.
As schools transition to blended learning models, the department encourages students and teachers to use the educational resources curated by NagaEd.
