Explosive video footage shows Nagaland Deputy CM voting eight times

In a video that has spread like wildfire on social media platforms, Nagaland's Deputy CM Y Patton can be seen signing up to vote eight times in a shocking display of rule violation right under the very noses of election officials.

The Nagaland deputy chief minister Yanthungo Patton has been accused of violating poll code by entering the 31 Riphyim Old III under Tyui Assembly Constituency district wearing a BJP scarf and also of casting multiple votes.

A complaint was lodged to the Election Commission of India (EC) by the Congress party who have accused the Deputy CM of violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC).

Meanwhile, the video available with  InsideNE shows Yanthungo Patton, who is the BJP MLA from Tyui Assembly Constituency, entering the polling station wearing a scarf bearing the BJP’s party’s name and its lotus symbol where he submitted the required proof, and when the polling officer asked him for signature, he signed on behalf of 8 (eight) voters listed in the sheet. Then, he moved to the booth and got the indelible ink on his finger three times.
