In a boost to the state's youth and employment, Nagaland girls are all set to take to the skies after GoAir, one of India’s leading low-cost carriers, recently conducted a campus recruitment drive at the Emporium Skills Training Institute in Dimapur, Nagaland.
120 Students from ESTI participated in the interview, at the end of which 19 candidates from Emporium Skills Training Institute, Dimapur, got selected as Cabin Crew members for the GoAir.
All the selected Naga candidates are currently undergoing training at the Emporium Skill Training Institute, Dimapur under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna Scheme (PMKVY2.0) which is conducted under the leadership of the Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of Nagaland.
The selected candidates will be reporting to Mumbai shortly, and will fly to around 25 destinations in India and seven overseas destinations with handsome salaries and additional perks and benefits offered by the airline.
The young women will undoubtedly be empowered by this drive, and if these kinds of initiatives are continued, it will lead to more employment opportunities for the youths of Nagaland to lead fruitful lives.
