In Nagaland, 45 new cases of COVID-19 have been detected out of 335 test results received. 23 in Kohima, 14 in Dimapur and 8 on Mon.
Earlier, Nagaland has reported four deaths because of suspected Covid-19.
It has been made mandatory for all who come to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly secretariat premises on July 30, including all the ministers, advisers, MLAs and the officers and staff of the Assembly secretariat, to undergo the Covid-19 test and carry the test results with them.
A one-day session of the Assembly will be held on July 30.
Meanwhile, 50 new cases of Covid-19 were detected out of the 344 test results received on Saturday.
Among them, 20 are in Mon, 19 in Dimapur, seven in Kohima and four in Mokokchung.
The state’s tally of Covid-19 positive cases now stood at 1289.

Assam has the highest COVID-19 cases in the Northeast India followed by Tripura.

India's COVID-19 tally cross 14 Lakhs mark with 708 deaths & highest single-day spike of 49,931 cases reported in last 24 hours, pushing the total tally to 14,35,453. The death toll is now 32771, as per data released by the Union Health Ministry. Active cases in India stand at 485114 while 917567 have been cured or discharged so far.
Among the states, Maharashtra is the first state to cross 13 thousand deaths. It has recorded 375799 corona cases with 213238 cured, 13656 deaths, and 148905 active cases. The western state is followed by Delhi and Tamil Nadu. Delhi has corona 130606 cases with 114875 cured, 3827 deaths, and 11904 active cases. Tamil Nadu has 213723 positive cases with 156526 cured, 3494 deaths 53703 active cases. Gujarat with 55822 COVID-19 cases, so far, has 40365 have been cured, 2326 deaths, and 13131 active cases.
