Nagaland: 71 new Covid-19 cases registered taking the tally to 3922, 109 recoveries in last 24 hours

Nagaland registered 71 new cases in the last 24hours taking the total tally to 3,922 cases. With the recent spike, the state is nearing the 4000 mark on Sunday. Among the 71 cases detected, 40 are armed forces personnel, 15 are persons through traced contacts, 11 are returnees and five are frontline workers.

Out of the total of 40 armed force personnel, 37 are from Kohima, two are from Mokokchung and one is from Zunheboto. Among the traced contacts, eight are from Kohima, six are from Tuensang, and one is from Zunheboto.

A total of 49 new cases have been detected from Kohima, 13 are from Tuensang, five are from Mokokchung, and two each are from Zunheboto and Dimapur.

Nagaland health minister informed that another 109 COVID-19 patients recovered on Sunday. However, the districts from where the patients recovered have not been mentioned.
