Hyderabad, February 22, 2020:

Temjen Imna Along, the Minister for Higher & Technical Education, Tribal Affairs, Government of Nagaland, was on Saturday awarded with the Leadership Award for his exemplary work in the field of Education and Tribal Affairs at the 16th World Education Summit in Hyderabad.

Speaking at the summit, Along emphasized on the importance of building a robust nation and a strong community whose goal is for the upliftment of its people and economy. Along also told the distinguished gathering that he was humbled to be honoured with the leadership award.

It may be mentioned here that Temjen Imma Along is a Bharatiya Janata Party politician from Nagaland. He has been elected in Nagaland Legislative Assembly election in 2018 from Alongtaki constituency as candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party. He was minister of Higher and Technical education in Fourth Neiphiu Rio ministry from 2018.
