NAGALAND: GOVERNMENT TO PROVIDE FREE WIFI

The Nagaland government has decided to provide free WiFi hotspot application in the state capital Kohima and all Deputy Commissioner’s office across Nagaland. This was announced by Nagaland’s information technology, science & technology and new & renewable energy advisor Mmhonlumo Kikon. The facility will also be extended to Kohima Science College (Autonomous), Jotsoma, three campuses of Nagaland University Lumami, Kohima and Medziphema and all DC’s offices of all the districts in Nagaland.

The facility would be put into effect in some months time as setting up of necessary infrastructure would take time. The facility is a special gift to students and the internet users as the government want to address issue of concern by being sensitive to the needs of the people.
