Nagaland | NDPP and INC candidates file nominations for Lok Sabha polls

Nagaland, March 22, 2019:

Tokheho Yepthomi from Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) and K.L. Chishi from Indian National Congress (INC) have filed their nominations today for the lone seat in Nagaland ahead of the ensuing Lok Sabha poll from Nagaland Parliamentary Constituency at Office of the Commissioner in Kohima, Nagaland.

For the by-election to the 26 Aonglenden assembly constituencies under Mokokchung district, out of the four candidates who have declared their candidature, Sharingain Longkumer of NDPP has filed his nomination today at Mokokchung.

The seat has been vacant due to the demise of NDPP MLA, Late Imtikumzuk since September last.

The last date of nomination will be on 25th March while scrutiny will be held on 26th March 2019.
