NAGALAND: SASHASTRA SEEMA BAL CONSTRUCTION IN DISPUTED AREA HALTED

Construction activities being carried out by the Sashastra Seema Bal(SSB) in a disputed area in Ralan Sub division in Wokha district of Nagaland was halted after Wokha Deputy Commissioner Dr. Manazir Jeelani along with SP Wokha and Border Magistrate visited the spot at Chandalashung B village. As per directions of DC Wokha, the ad-hoc Commandant of SSB agreed to stop the construction activities immediately till the matter is resolved at the highest level. The DC also held a meeting with the Commandants of Central Reserve Police Force(CRPF) and SSB at BM Ralan’s office where he impressed upon them to work in a neutral and impartial manner while executing their duties as neutral forces.
