Nagaland: Survey among parents on reopening of schools

Nagaland’s school education department will conduct a survey among parents of all students studying in government and private schools under it from 3 pm to 3.45 pm on July 22 on reopening of schools after the ongoing lockdown is lifted.

Principal director, school education department, Shanavas C, in a notification on Saturday, said the parents can login in to the online evaluation portal of the department https://dosenl.in on the specified date and time using the user credentials already registered by their children for appearing in the online evaluation. Registration of students at the portal is open and those yet to register may complete the registration before taking part at the survey, he said.

The notification said the parents need to give their responses for 15 questions that will be made available at the portal within the time limit of 45 minutes and click the submit button. One can attempt the survey any number of times during the given time and the responses submitted during the final attempt will be accepted by the system.   

Nagaland Corona

Nagaland reported a total of 40 fresh COVID-19 cases on July 18th, 2020 taking the state’s total to 956, state Health and Family Welfare Minister S Pangnyu Phom informed. Of the 40 positive cases, 39 are from Dimapur and one from Peren district. 

Of the 956 total confirmed COVID-19 cases, 551 are active and 405 have been cured and discharged so far. The state has not registered any death yet.

Assam has the highest COVID-19 cases in the Northeast India followed by Tripura. Nagaland has the fourth highest cases in the region.
