NSCN (K/N) cadres apprehended in Nagaland

Kohima, March 12, 2019:

Based on specific input regarding illegal extortion, the Zunheboto Battalion of the Assam Rifles under the aegis of Igar (North) headquarters laid an MVCP on Asukomi -Zunheboto road on 10 March 2019.

During a spot check operation, SS Tatar Ikhuvu, age 35 yrs, SS Administrator Shekupu, age 58 yrs, SS Khapur Hikuto, age 42 yrs, and SS Kejhur (Civ Wg), Hunato age 34 yrs were intercepted in a Maruti 800 vehicle.

One .22mm factory-made Pistol and other incriminating documents were recovered from them. All four individuals along with recoveries were handed over to Zunheboto Police Station for further investigation.
