Two terrorists were shot down in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday morning.
However as per reports, a joint cordon and search operation was carried out on Friday night
based on intelligence about the presence of terrorists in the said area.
The search operation turned into an encounter after terrorists opened fire at the security forces party, who retaliated.

Also one M4 rifle and one pistol has been recovered from the terrorists.
"Two unidentified terrorists have been killed in the encounter between security forces
and terrorists in Chingam area of Kulgam," Kashmir Zone Police said in a statement.
