NEW DELHI: In a bizarre incident, the takeoff of a London-bound Air India flight was cancelled after ants were discovered inside the plane.
The flight, which was scheduled to depart from the Indira Gandhi International Airport here at 2 p.m. today, was delayed for more than three hours after a swarm of ants was discovered in the business class.
According to report, the ants were discovered inside AI-111's business class just before the plane was about to take off.
