NEW DELHI: The Mumbai sessions court has given a nod to hear Aryan Khan's bail plea on October 13 after Narcotics Control Bureau files reply.
A Mumbai court on Friday had denied bail to the son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan followed by his arrest in connection with the drugs-on-the-cruise case. Aryan Khan was sent to judicial custody for 14 days along with seven others on Thursday by a Mumbai magistrate court.
Reportedly, bail applications of four other accused Arbaaz Merchant, Mohak Jaswal, Nupur Satija, and Munmun Dhamecha have also been listed on the Wednesday.
As per reports, Advocate Amit Desai representing Aryan Khan has asked the bail application hearing to be scheduled for Wednesday. In response to the request, Special prosecutor Sethna has Aryan's matter 'deserves priority'.
Aryan Khan was arrested by NCB in a rave party case on Sunday. He was arrested at 2 p.m. after being interrogated by the NCB about the cruise rave party that the agency busted last week.
Aryan Khan was booked under Sections 8C, 20B, 27, and 35 of the NDPS Act.
According to reports, the high-profile party was held onboard the Cordelia Cruises Empress ship last week.
