Mumbai: Bail not granted to Arnab Goswami, There will be no immediate relief for the Editor-in-Chief of Republic TV Arnab Goswami, arrested in an abetment of suicide case of 2018 on Friday, as the hearing on his interim bail plea before the Bombay High Court still remains incomplete.

Arnab was arrested from his residence by Alibaug police in neighbouring Raigad district on Wednesday. A magistrate’s court there remanded him in judicial custody till November 18.

The court on Saturday will not just continue to hear his petition seeking interim bail but also challenge his arrest in connection with the suicide of architect-interior designer Anvay Naik and his mother.

Justices S S Shinde and M S Karnik said they would continue the hearing on Saturday because of lack of time.
