BJP MP-MLA shoe fight in an official event goes viral on social media

Guwahati, March 7, 2019:

In a shocking incident, two Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders from Uttar Pradesh engaged in a fist fight, beating each other with shoes at a District Coordination meeting of the party at Sant Kabir Nagar, Lucknow.

In the video, the fight broke out when BJP MP Sharad Tripathi asked BJP MLA Rakesh Baghel as why his name was not mentioned on the foundation stone for a local road, to which Baghel said that it was his decision.

Getting outraged of the reply, Tripathi took up his shoe and started hitting Baghel and the fight turned out bigger as both of them started thrashing each other.

Later the other members moved in and stopped the fight.
