Bomb Explodes in Lucknow Court, 3 Lawyers Injured

Lucknow, February 13, 2020:

Three people were injured following a blast at the Wazirganj civil court in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh on Thursday.

While one of the persons was seriously injured, the other two sustained minor injuries, as per reports.

Joint Secretary of Lucknow Bar Association has claimed that he was the target. According to India Today report, Lucknow Police have already nabbed the bomber, identified as one Jeetu Yadav.

Wazirganj police are probing the incident and have recovered three more live bombs from the scene. The bomb was made using locally-available explosive materials, according to officials.

Meanwhile, a hue-and-cry has erupted outside the Court and several hundreds have gathered outside the Court.
