Breaking: Spicejet Flight Headed from Guwahati-Mumbai Makes Emergency Landing in Raipur; 1 Dead

Raipur, November 21, 2019:

A Spicejet flight that took off from Guwahati earlier today, made emergency landing in Raipur, in Chhattisgarh, at around 2:30 pm today.

A source told Inside Northeast, "The flight that took off from Raipur had to make an emergency landing. However, one person has died on the spot."

The cause of death has not been ascertained, but the person reportedly died during 'treatment', the source said. The body has been taken for postmortem, it has been reported.

According to reports, the 150 passengers are still stranded at the Swami Vivekanand Airport in Raipur, as this category of aircraft cannot operate at the Raipur airport. The materials needed to 'pushback' the flight are being brought in from Delhi.
