Earlier today, troops of Border Security Force (BSF) under Guwahati Frontier seized 30 kilos of marijuana near the Indi-Bangladesh border in Rajarbari village in Coochbehar district of West Bengal.
Acting on a tip off, troops of the Tilak outpost of the BSF under Guwahati Frontier carried out a special operation in Rajarbari and seized six packets of marijuana wrapped in plastic. The consignment was being transported from India to Bangladesh when the shipment was intercepted by the personnel.
After seizure, the marijuana was handed over to the officials at the Sitalkuchi Police Station in Cooch Behar for further action.
