Corona positives spur as India crosses 81,970 cases: Tripura highest in NE

As of 15th May, India has reached 81,970 mark in terms of corona positive cases. The country currently has 51,401 active cases with 27,919 cured and discharged. The total number of deaths is 2,649.
Among the states, Maharashtra is the first state to cross a thousand deaths. It has recorded 27,524 cases with 6,059 cured and 1,019 deaths. The western state is followed by Gujarat and Maharasthra. Gujarat has 9,591 cases with 3,753 cured and 586 deaths. Tamil Nadu has crossed 9,674 cases with 2,240 cured and 66 deaths.
In Northeast India: Tripura has the highest number of covid19 cases followed by Assam. Sikkim so far has 0 home cases.
