DIG South Kashmir, Amit Kumar injured in fresh firing with JeM terrorist

J&K, February 18, 2019:

The DIG South Kashmir, Amit Kumar has been injured during the fresh firing which resumed in Pinglen area of Pulwama district where encounter broke out early in the morning today.

The DIG has been rushed to the nearest army base hospital by helicopter.

It may be mentioned that early this morning, four Indian Army officials were martyred in the encounter that broke out with the Jaish-e-Muhammed terrorists. In the encounter, the mastermind of the Pulwama attack, Kamran Gaji was gun down.
