Guwahati (Assam), Aug 21, 2018:

President Ram Nath Kobind made a major reshuffle of Governors of seven States, including three in the Northeast, on Tuesday.

According to a press communiqué issued by the President’s Secretariat, Lal Ji Tandon, Satyadev Narayan Arya and Baby Rani Maurya have been made new the Governors of Bihar, Haryana and Uttarkhand respectively.

Further, current Meghalaya Governor Ganga Prasad has been transferred and appointed as the Governor of Sikkim.

Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy has been transferred and appointed as Governor of Meghalaya.

Haryana Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki has been transferred and appointed as Governor of Tripura.

Likewise, current Bihar Governor Satya Pal Malik has been transferred and appointed as Governor of Jammu & Kashmir.
