Indian pilot is missing in action, confirms Indian Government

Guwahati, February 27, 2019

The Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar on Wednesday at a briefing in New Delhi confirmed that an Indian Pilot MiG-21 Bison went missing and the pilot of the MiG-21 also went missing in action on Wednesday.

Indian Fighters also shot down a Pakistani F16 fighter jet, confirmed Kumar. During the briefing, Indian Air Force’s Air Vice Marshal MGK Kapoor was present.

It may be mentioned that the Pakistani military has also claimed the arrest of two IAF pilots early in the morning.
