NEW DELHI: The ninth round of India-China Corps Commander Level Meeting was ‘positive, practical and constructive’, the joint press release informed on Monday.
According to the official release, Both the Asian countries held the 16-hour long talks at the Moldo border point on the Chinese side of the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh. The meeting started on January 24 and ended at 2:30 pm on January 25.
The military commanders of India and China had a candid and in-depth exchange of views on disengagement along the Line of Actual Control in the western sector of China-India border areas.
"The two sides agreed that this round of meeting was positive, practical and constructive, which further enhanced mutual trust and understanding. The two sides agreed to push for an early disengagement of the frontline troops," the joint statement said.
Both the countries decided to hold the 10th round of talks soon to advance the de-escalation process.
