Pak Troops Violate Casefire in Kashmir’s Rajouri district

Guwahati, August 8, 2019:

The Pakistani troops on Wednesday night again initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation in Sunderbani Sector of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), by small arms fire and shelling with mortars.

The Indian Army responding strongly and no casualties have been reported so far in the ceasefire violation in Sunderbani Sector of Rajouri district.

It is to be mentioned that on July 30, an army jawan, Naik Krishan Lal has been martyred during the ceasefire violation.

Naik Krishan Lal (34 years) hails from Ghagriyal village inTehsil – Akhnoor district of Jammuand Kashmir.

Meanwhile, on July 29, a 15-day-old baby has been killed, along with his mother and another civilian along the LoC in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. They were injured when hit by splinters from mortar shells in Shahpur sector. All the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital but later succumbed to their injuries.
