Guwahati, February 18, 2019:

The All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) on Monday has announced for a total ban on Pakistani actors and artists working in the Film Industry. The ban orders came up in the wake of the loss of the 42 jawans in the Pulwama terror attack.

The association also mentioned that still if any organizations insist on working with Pakistani artists will be banned by AICWA and strong action will be taken against them.

Clarifying its stand with the nation in confronting such terror and inhumanity, AICWA has expressed their deepest condolence to the family of the martyrs.

It may be mentioned that a few days back, famous scriptwriter and lyricist Javed Akhtar and his wife actress Shabana Azmi refused to attend a poetry programme in Pakistan where both of them were invited.

It seems that the Pulwama terrorist attack has added fuel to the Indo-Pak conflict.
