Jaish-e-Mohammed leader and Pulwama-attack mastermind Masood Azhar was on Wednesday listed as a 'global terrorist' by the United Nations Security Council.
China, which had blocked Masood Azhar's listing as a global terrorist four times, finally dropped its objections.
This means that the Jaish leader is now subjected to an arms embargo, travel ban, and asset freeze.
This development was announced by India's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to UN, Syed Akbaruddin in a tweet.
