Rahul Gandhi lashes Modi Government over Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016

Imphal, March 20, 2019:

Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday lashes Modi government once again on Citizenship Amendment Bill for Northeast while addressing a mass gathering at Imphal in Manipur

Addressing the gathering Rahul Gandhi slammed the Centre for allegedly appointing an RSS supporter as the Vice-chancellor of Manipur University. He appreciated the students’ and people of Manipur for standing up against the VC, who was allegedly forced upon Manipur University by the Centre and also promised special status to Manipur if voted to power

Rahul said that the Congress will not let the Citizenship Bill to get amended at any cost. He also had an interactive session with the students at Manipur Secular Democratic Front (MSDF) in the morning.
